Severe Thunderstorms Produce Microbursts
August 12th 2010

Severe pulse thunderstorms produced microbursts that caused significant but localized wind damage across the St. Louis Region and southwest Illinois on Thursday August 12th 2010.  Some locations that experienced structural damage included St. Peters, Harvester, north St. Louis City, Troy, and southern St. Clair County and Randolph County, Illinois.  In addition to the structural damage, many locations saw extensive tree damage. One minor injury was reported in St. Peters, Missouri.
