Tornado formed over far northeastern Osage County and crossed NW Gasconade County before moving into Montgomery County.  Worst damage and a fatality occurred over Montgomery and Warren Counties.

Formed 8 miles S of Hermann and moved NE into southwestern Warren County.  Four homes and a dozen barns were destroyed 6 miles SE of Hermann in the Little Berger Creek area.

A tornado destroyed barns and outbuildings on 10 farms beginning 1 mile ESE of the intersection of Highways 19 and E (12 miles S of Hermann) and ended 2 miles W of New Haven 0.5 miles N of Highway 100 in Franklin County.

A tornado touched down briefly and destroyed a mobile home south of Bland.

A tornado produced minor damage, mostly to trees and crops 5 miles SW of Hermann.

A tornado touched down 4 miles NW of Redbird and traveled to about 1.5 miles NE of Owensville.  The damage was intermittent with about 40% of the path showing damage.  The path width ranged from 75 to 125 yards.  Most of the damage was in the Landwher Subdivision on the southern edge of Owensville.  Eighty three houses, mobile homes or other out buildings were damaged or destroyed.

5/13/1985 417 pm F1 6 100 0 0 >$50,000 SD, SPC

A tornado destroyed a barn and outbuildings near Stolpe and damaged 5 trailers and some trees.  The tornado was on the ground intermittently from 12 miles SW of Hermann to 4 miles W of Hermann.
