The first 10 days in May were a busy time for us here at the National Weather Service Office in St. Louis.  Between working the severe weather episodes, surveying the storm damage and working with the local and national media outlets to keep the public informed, we have had very little time to post things on the web.

During the first 10 days of May, we issued:

 88 - Severe Thunderstorm Warnings
54 - Tornado Warnings
228 - Severe Weather Statements
146 - Local Storm Reports

NOTE:  The surveys, damage reports, and storm tracks presented on these pages are a compilation of reports received from various Spotters, Emergency Management Officials, Storm Chasers, Observers, NWS resources and other sources.  As we receive more detailed information, we will update these pages.  All posted pages are preliminary and subject to updates and corrections.
