Hello!  I'm Jim Kramper, the Warning Coordination Meteorologist (WCM) at the National Weather Service (NWS) Office in St. Louis, Mo.  As WCM, I am the primary link between outside organizations, the public and the NWS.  I work with State and Local Government organizations, the media, schools, and spotter groups. 
Some recent developments...

8/9/05 - The launch of GOES-N will bring changes to the EMWIN system. To be ready, check out the EMWIN information page:

8/11/05 - Werhenberg Theatres of St. Louis will be working with the NWS to promote NOAA Weather Radio (NWR). Before the movie starts, look for a slide advertising NWR. Thanks Werhenberg!

8/18/05 - Severe Weather Awareness Week for Missouri 2006 has been tentatively set for March 13 - 17, 2006. For information from last year, visit our Severe Weather Safety page. .

8/19/05 - Scheduling has begun for the fall spotter training schedule. Check out our schedule of Spotter Training Classes.

8/19/05 - The NWS will set up a display along with other emergency agencies on the lawn of the Missouri Capitol in Jefferson on 9/21/05. The event is part of National Preparedness Month.
