Precipitation fell across the entire region during the past 24 hours. Heavy rain continued across the far eastern sections while rain changed to snow across the northwest. Along a southeastern Missouri to lower Michigan rainfall amounts were generally in the inch to inch and a half range while to the north and west amounts were generally a quarter inch or less. In northern third of Minnesota around an inch of water equivalent was reported. This precipitation started as rain and changed to snow Friday. Snowfall amounts were generally 2 inches or less. During the next day precipitation is expected to fall across the north...from Minnesota...northern Wisconsin and the upper peninsula and northern lower Michigan. Water equivalents of a tenth of an inch or less are expected. This precipitation is froecast to continue Sunday into Monday and add another tenth of an inch by Monday morning.
