HYDROMETEOROLOGICAL FORECAST DISCUSSION
NWS NORTH CENTRAL RIVER FORECAST CENTER TWIN CITIES/CHANHASSEN MN
1206 PM CST FRI NOV 6 2009

...Precipitation...

A maximum of 0.06 inches of rain fell over parts of Michigan in
the past 24 hours.  The remainder of the NCRFC region was free of
precipitation.

No significant precipitation is expected in the NCRFC area for
next few days.

Low temperatures will remain above freezing except for in parts of
the northwest on Saturday night...where they should drop to the
freezing mark.  Highs will reach the 70s in the south this 
afternoon and Saturday afternoon.

...Hydrologic Conditions...

The Red River of the North in the Fargo area has crested and the
stages are going down.  There will be rises downstream as the flow
travels to the north.

High stages are still occuring in Iowa ... eastern Missouri ...
and Illinois.  Stages are falling except for the Illinois
River at the lower end which will be rising for a couple more
days.
