Marvin Seyer of Ipswich, SD to be Honored for Contributions

To the National Weather Service Volunteer Observer Program





Marvin Seyer will receive the Thomas Jefferson Award for outstanding service in the National Weather Service’s Cooperative Weather Observer Program. This is the highest honor bestowed upon a National Weather Service Cooperative Observer.



James Scarlett, Meteorologist in Charge, National Weather Service Aberdeen, will present the award at 2 PM at the National Weather Service office in Aberdeen. Representatives from the offices of U.S. Senator Johnson and U.S. Senator Thune will be in hand for the ceremony.
