Updated Status on the RelianceTransmitter

During the first week of December, our NOAA Weather Radio transmitter located near Reliance (KZZ60, 162.525 MHz) will go off the air. The antenna is located on a temporary tower that will be decommissioned. We are still working on obtaining a permanent location for the antenna. At this time we are unsure of the exact date the transmitter will go off the air, and unsure the length of time it will be off the air. If the downtime appears to be lengthy, we will add Lyman, Buffalo, Brule,Tripp and Gregory counties to the Pierre NWR transmitter (WXM26, 162.400MHz) cycle for watch/warning/advisory notification. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.
