Heaviest Snows of the Season - Northern Michigan

    

Periods of heavy lake effect snow showers continued to impact the region through early Thursday evening, although temperatures approaching the freezing mark did tend to hamper daytime accumulations. However, some areas managed to pick up between 3 to 5 inches where the heaviest snow showers persisted.

Lake effect snows will continue through the rest of the night and into Friday morning, before diminishing through the day Friday.

TOTALS ARE 12 HOUR REPORTS ENDING BETWEEN 6 PM AND 9 PM THURSDAY EVENING.
