The 4th of July Holiday certainly brings up some great times with friends and family as we celebrate the wonderful country in which we live. However, as longtime residents of northern Michigan can attest, the weather during this time of year can be quite variable, with some years featuring some very hot summer-like warmth, while others exhibit plenty of fall-like chill - all in line with the truly changeable weather so common throughout the Great Lakes region. Below is a look at the warmest, coldest, and wettest 4th of July's recorded for various cities throughout the region over the past 100+ years.
