One noticeable feature from above is the large snowfall event across Northern Lower Michigan on the Thanksgiving of 2005. Last Thanksgiving only saw some trace amounts of rain and snow. Nearly half of all Thanksgiving holidays in the last 14 years had some snow depth covering the ground.
