Summer temperatures making a return appearance to northern Michigan

After nearly 3 weeks of below normal temperatures, summer warmth is poised to return to northern Michigan during the last half of the month.  Looking ahead, outdoor summer enthusiasts should find the forecast to their liking.  High temperatures will gradually warm each day heading into next week.  By the middle of next week, highs into the mid and possibly the upper 80s are expected.  Normal high temperatures this time of year are generally in the mid 70s.
