September is National Preparedness Month (NPM).
Now in its10th year, NPM is managed and sponsored by FEMA's Ready Campaign.
FEMA has a National Preparedness Community that you can join.
FEMA has supplied a toolkit TOOLKIT of marketing materials that you can use in your outreach and education activities, including social media resources, draft proclamations and other useful preparedness information on NPM activities. The toolkit and Ready.gov contain many more ideas on how to promote NPM. It's a wealth of free content for your use.
NPM will be a major media campaign in September. Look for it in your local and national news. During September, FEMA will unveil new PSAs, conduct media interviews, and lead a social media push.
