Blowing/Drifting Snow Continues This Afternoon

HAPPENING NOW:

Law enforcement reports that many roads still remain drifted over and impassable. Some road closures continue, mostly for southeast MN and parts of north-central WI. Many cars are in ditches. Visibilities are restricted. Northeast IA and southwest WI has seen some improvement. Generally, where the lesser snow amounts fell, conditions have started to improve.

Please call 511 or go to the 511 web site for the state you are interested in for the most up-to-date road conditions.

This Afternoon

  • Blowing and drifting will continue - especially across the open and unsheltered areas of southeast MN, northeast IA, area ridge-tops and higher terrain.
