Very High Fire Danger This Afternoon - Avoid Outdoor Burning

Windy and dry conditions will develop this afternoon leading to very HIGH fire dangers again!

The combination of...

  • West winds of 15 to 20 mph with gusts of 25 to 30 mph
  • Low relative humidities of 20 to 25%
  • Temperatures in the middle to upper 60s
  • Dry grasses, forest litter, etc...

...will create an environment that supports the rapid movement of wildfires. Any outdoor fire could "get out of hand" quickly. Avoid outdoor burning this afternoon.

If you see a wildfire, please contact your local law enforcement.
