Heavy Rain Threat Diminishing; Snow Lingers

Heaviest Rain Moving East; Snow Starting to Take Over:

A large area of rain that still blankets much of Wisconsin into neighboring Iowa and Illinois, continues to push east late this evening.  Rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches have been reported today.  This has caused some river flooding and localized mudslides.

A combination of Flood Warnings and Watches are in effect.

Further west, colder air will wrap in on this system with rain changing over to snow tonight from west to east. Some accumulations of an inch or two are possible across the area.
