Flooding Continues Today

Thunderstorms produced heavy rain across part of the area the past few days. This has led to flooding over portions of northeast Iowa where 3 to 7 inches of rain fell. High water levels are also occurring over parts of southeast Minnesota into southwest Wisconsin.  The recent rains will lead to rising water levels along the Mississippi River over the next several days.

  • River and streams will continue to run high or out of there banks across parts of northeast IA and southwest WI into this afternoon.  An Areal Flood Warning remains in effect through 1:15 PM Today.
  • Mississippi River will rise once again, with some locations going into flood.
  • NEVER drive across a flooded roadway
