Severe Threat Starting To Wane

Strong storms continue to move east southeast across the area at mid-evening, some capable of 40 mph winds and 1/2 inch hail. There is still a chance a few storms could become severe, producing damaging winds and large hail. This threat should drop off  by 10 pm.  

Through This Evening

  • Forecast:  Periods of showers and thunderstorms through the evening, most numerous during the mid evening hours. A few of these storms could be strong or possibly severe.
  • Impact area: Much of the region, but especially along and north of Interstate 90 
  • Timing: until 10 pm
  • Threats: Damaging winds and Large hail. Isolated tornadoes also possible.
