St. Charles, MN Fire Radar Imagery

At about 10:25 AM this morning, the North Star Foods plant in St. Charles, MN caught on fire.  The smoke plume from this fire became large enough shortly before noon that the NWS La Crosse radar began to detect it.  The radar loop below shows what this plume looked like earlier this afternoon.

The National Weather Service can also use our high resolution models to provide support on where these smoke plumes may eventually end up.  The loop below shows where the smoke from this fire will likely drift.
