Winter is coming to Iowa, Minnesota and Wisconsin.  Are you prepared?

The National Weather Service (NWS), in cooperation with state Homeland Security and Emergency Management agencies, has declared the week of November 9-13, 2009 Winter Hazard Awareness Week in Minnesota and Wisconsin (Winter Weather Awareness Day in Iowa is November 12, 2009).

During the week, the NWS will be stressing different topics and safety ideas related to hazardous winter weather.  You can use the following links for reference material and education:
