Routine River Forecasts Suspended for the Winter Season

With the onset of winter, and icing conditions, routine river forecasts for the Mississippi River have been suspended for the winter season.

The last forecast was prepared Monday, December 5th.   Routine forecasts will commence again in the spring, typically in late March or the first week of April, depending on conditions.

As always, you can stay up-to-date with the latest river levels by checking our Advanced Hydrologic Prediction Service (AHPS) web page at:  http://water.weather.gov
