The threat for severe thunderstorms is quickly decreasing with the advent of sundown. A few stronger (perhaps severe?) storms will still be possible across southeast Minnesota until midnight - capable of producing wind gusts of 30 to 40 mph and heavy downpours. Otherwise, look for periods of showers and thunderstorms through the overnight hours...especially around the I-90 corridor. Rain chances will be less over northeast Iowa and southwest Wisconsin, and also north of highway 29 in Wisconsin.
