Occasional showers and thunderstorms will move across parts of the region this morning.  Some of these stronger storms could produce wind gusts in the 40 to 50 mph range, along with downpours.

A cold front will then move across the region today, bringing another round of showers and thunderstorms. Some of the thunderstorms will be capable of producing large hail and damaging winds - mainly in the afternoon and evening hours over far eastern Iowa into Wisconsin and Illinois.
