Various ways to view our weather forecasts - one for you?

To help serve you better, the National Weather Service continues to invent new ways to view our weather forecasts. Below is a listing of all of our weather forecast displays. Perhaps there are 1 or more displays that work for you. 

If you have any comments or would like to see a different display, let us know.

Point - and - Click:  From our home page, you can click anywhere on the map and get a forecast. This forecast display includes:

  1. Pictures with high and low temperatures through the next 5 days
  2. Current conditions
  3. A 7 day text forecast
  4. Access to current radar and satellite data, hourly weather graphs and to a forecast view over the Upper Mississippi River Valley region

Experimental Point - and - Click:  A new view of our point-and-click page has been developed, which contains more information:

  1. The main weather story for the next 7 days
  2. Hourly forecast data for the next 12 hours, 24 hours, 48 hours and 7 days
  3. Current conditions
  4. What we are posting to Facebook
  5. Current radar
  6. An hourly weather graph

Activity Planner: If you are looking for certain weather conditions to accomplish an activity, this is the page for you.

Graphical Display of our forecast: View the forecast over the entire country or over portions of the country

Experimental Probability of Weather Types product: We forecast our confidence of each type of precipitation occurring and display it in a table for each county.
