Strong Storms Exiting To The East

A cold front continued to spark showers and thunderstorms along and just behind it. Some were strong to severe, but most of this activity has shifted into parts of eastern Wisconsin. The threat for severe weather - locally - is quickly diminishing.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch is in effect for parts of Wisconsin.

Impacts: Timing:
  • Large Hail
  • Damaging Wind
  • Frequent Lightning
  • Through 8 PM 
  • Earliest across north-central Wisconsin
  • Threat moves southeast during the evening
  • Heat Details:

    • Overnight lows in the mid 60s to near 70
    • A brief cool down Thursday and Friday
    • Some indications for a heat wave to begin this upcoming weekend, with more 90 degree heat likely

    If working or planning outdoor activities this week, remember to keep hydrated. It's been awhile since we've had warmer temperatures, so our bodies aren't quite as acclimated. Be smart and take it easy if you feel overheated.
