Roads Icy - Slide Offs Reported - Another Snow Band Moving Thru

Happening NOW:

Another band of snow will slide across the area overnight, likely exiting into eastern Wisconsin by 4 am. Additional snow accumulations should be less than 1/2 inch, and mostly along and north of I-90. Meanwhile, much of the freezing drizzle has moved east, but remains possible into the overnight.

Law enforcement across southwest into central Wisconsin reported that most roads are slippery with ice. HWY 151 especially treacherous. Many slide offs and some accidents. If you must travel in these areas - exercise extreme caution and take it slow.

Winter Weather Advisories are in effect until 6 am this morning - mainly across northeast Iowa, southwest and central Wisconsin.

  • Snow exiting into eastern Wisconsin by 4
  • Less than 1/2 inch of additional snow - mostly north of I-90

Impacts

  • Untreated roadways are icy
  • Travel difficult across parts of southwest and central Wisconsin
