Colder Air Arrives Friday

A strong cold front will plow through western North Dakota Friday morning and then through central North Dakota Friday afternoon. Gusty northwest winds and scattered snow showers will accompany the cold front. Temperatures will remain in the 20s across western North Dakota through the day with wind chill temperatures of 5 to 15 above zero as northwest winds range between 15 and 30 mph. Temperatures will remain in the 30s across central North Dakota through the early afternoon, however a sharp decrease in temperatures will commence by mid to late afternoon and early evening as the cold front passes through.  Low temperatures Friday night into early Saturday morning will range between 15F and 25F.  Winds will remain brisk Friday night resulting in wind chill temperatures of 0F to 10F above zero. Highs on Saturday will range from 30F to 40F.
