POSSIBLE HEAVY RAIN SUNDAY NIGHT...MONDAY INTO TUESDAY

ANOTHER WET WEATHER SYSTEM IS FORECAST TO MOVE INTO THE
NORTHERN PLAINS LATE SUNDAY INTO MONDAY. THIS STORM SYSTEM
COULD BRING ADDITIONAL RAINFALL TO WESTERN AND CENTRAL NORTH
DAKOTA...WITH RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF 1 TO 1.5 INCHES OVER A TWO DAY
PERIOD A POSSIBILITY. ALSO OF CONCERN WILL BE THE POTENTIAL FOR
HEAVIER RAINFALL ACROSS EASTERN MONTANA AND SOUTHERN
SASKATCHEWAN. RUNOFF FROM THESE AREAS MAY IMPACT THE RIVERS
IN NORTH DAKOTA.

MUCH UNCERTAINTY REMAINS AS TO THE TRACK AND AMOUNT OF RAINFALL
THE STORM SYSTEM COULD PRODUCE. HOWEVER...RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF 1
TO 1.5 INCHES WOULD CREATE ADDITIONAL RUNOFF AND POTENTIALLY
EXACERBATE OR EXTEND THE FLOODING OF RIVERS AND CREEKS ACROSS
WESTERN AND CENTRAL NORTH DAKOTA. RAINFALL AMOUNTS OVER TWO
INCHES ARE POSSIBLE ACROSS EASTERN MONTANA AND SOUTHERN
SASKATCHEWAN. RUNOFF FROM THESE AREAS WILL IMPACT THE
MISSOURI...YELLOWSTONE...THE LITTLE MISSOURI...AND THE SOURIS RIVERS.

THOSE LIVING ALONG RIVERS IN WESTERN NORTH DAKOTA...AND THOSE
EXPERIENCING CURRENT HIGH WATER...SHOULD TAKE NOTE OF THE
POSSIBILITY OF ADDITIONAL RAINFALL.
