Public Meeting For Flood Stage at Bismarck on the Missouri River

 

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE OFFICE IN BISMARCK AND BURLEIGH
COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT WILL HOLD A PUBLIC MEETING TO DISCUSS
PROPOSED CHANGES TO THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DEFINITION OF
FLOOD STAGE FOR THE BISMARCK GAGE ON THE MISSOURI RIVER. THE
PUBLIC AND MEDIA ARE WELCOME TO ATTEND...ASK QUESTIONS...AND
PROVIDE COMMENTS.

ALLEN SCHLAG...SERVICE HYDROLOGIST FOR THE NATIONAL WEATHER
SERVICE OFFICE IN BISMARCK...WILL PRESENT INFORMATION ON THE
HYDROLOGY PROGRAM OF THE NWS AND WHAT A CHANGE IN THE NWS FLOOD
STAGE MEANS TO THE AFFECTED POPULATION.

THE MEETING WILL BE HELD TUESDAY...20 MARCH...AT 5:30 PM CDT IN
THE TOM BAKER ROOM OF THE CITY AND COUNTY BUILDING LOCATED AT 221
NORTH FIFTH STREET IN BISMARCK.
