Smoky Skies Today From Fires In Northern Canada

Smoky skies will continue today (Friday) across western and central North Dakota. Shown is the visibile satellite image from Thursday evening before sunset, which clearly shows smoke entering North Dakota from fires in northern Canada. The smoke shows up on visible satellite as a thin, milky looking cloud layer.
