COLD HIGH PRESSURE BROUGHT A HARD FREEZE TO WESTERN AND CENTRAL

NORTH DAKOTA THIS PAST WEEKEND. MORNING LOWS ON SATURDAY AND

SUNDAY FELL INTO THE UPPER TEENS TO MID 20S ACROSS MOST OF THE

AREA. A HARD FREEZE IS DEFINED AS WIDESPREAD TEMPERATURES OF 28

DEGREES OR BELOW...FOR AT LEAST THREE HOURS.

 

YOUR NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE OFFICE IN BISMARCK WILL NO LONGER

ISSUE FROST ADVISORIES...FREEZE WATCHES OR FREEZE WARNINGS THIS

FALL SEASON. WE WILL ISSUE THESE PRODUCTS ONCE AGAIN AT THE

BEGINNING OF THE 2013 GROWING SEASON.
