Weather Pattern Change Coming This Week (Colder, Chance for Rain & Snow)

Cold Canadian air will surge south into the Northern Plains Tuesday night into Wednesday behind a strong cold front.  Highs Tuesday in the 60s across Northwest North Dakota and around 80 across South Central North Dakota will be replaced with highs in the 40s to mid 50s Wednesday through Saturday.  In addition, the first decent chance for widespread rainfall in over a month is forecast Tuesday night through Wednesday across Western and Central North Dakota.  Combined with the colder air, a rain/snow mix will be possible Wednesday night into Thursday morning.  At this time accumulating snowfall is not expected.
