This week ...April 10th - April 16th has been declared as Colorado's Severe Weather Awareness Week. The National Weather Service has produced statements that are designed to help the public understand what exactly severe weather is and what precautions and safety procedures should be followed when severe weather theatens. The statements also provide definitions for warnings, watches and advisories. These statements will be sent out daily via public news means, NOAA All Hazards Weather Radio, and will be listed on the Denver/Boulder website (at the bottom of http://www.crh.noaa.gov/bou/?n=svrpage#svrwx.
