2011 Growing Season across Northeastern Colorado Has Ended

The National Weather Service in Boulder will NOT be issuing any more Freeze Warnings this Fall.

On the mornings of October 18th and 19th, temperatures dropped into the mid to upper 20s across most of the I-25 corridor and the northeast plains.  This has effectively ended the 2011 growing season.

If you wish to continue to protect your cold-sensitive plants over the next few weeks, follow the low temperature forecasts on our website, and take appropriate action when sub-freezing temperatures are forecast. Appropriate action should also be taken with regard to outdoor irrigation systems and faucets.
