Combined March-April Snowfall Lowest on Record

The total snowfall for March and April combined was 1.0”.  This is the lowest combined March-April Snowfall on record dating back to 1882. The previous low was 1.1” in 1887.  The average is normally 20.5” based on the period of record.   Furthermore the last two years the combined March-April Snowfall has been below 5.0”.   Dating back to 1882 there has never been two consecutive years where the combined March-April Snowfall was less than 5 inches.
