December 2007 Now 6th Snowiest December In Denver Weather History.

Another 4.2 inches was measured at the former Stapleton International Airport on December 27th bringing the total December 2007 snowfall up to 20.9 inches.  This registers December 2007 as the 6th snowiest December since snowfall records began in 1882.

There is still a 10% chance of more snow on Sunday but probably will not be enough snow to surpass the current 5th place holder of December snowfall, 21.5 inches recorded in 1987.

Denver’s all-time snowiest December which is also Denver’s snowiest month ever was 57.4 inches in 1913.
