Sep 3:  An unseasonably early snowfall occurred around the Laramie Valley on this day in
              1961.  Laramie recorded about a half inch of snowfall, while to the west near
              Centennial, three inches of snow was recorded.

Sep 4:  On this day in 1998, Scottsbluff, NE equaled it warmest September temperature on
              record with a high of 102 degrees.

              on record for September with a high of 102.

              Light overnight snows continued in Laramie during the 1961 cool spell, with a 3-day
              total from September 3-5 of an inch recorded.

              Three inches of snow was recorded near Lusk, WY on this day in 1929.

Sep 6:  A severe thunderstorm produced hail up to 2.5 inches in diameter in Lodgepole,
              Nebraska on this day in 1994, which resulted in about $100,000 in property damage.

              when 2.69 inches soaked the city.


Sep 9:  The latest 100 degree temperature ever recorded for Kimball, NE occurred
              on this day in 1931.

              Today is the latest day of the year in which no snow has been recorded in Cheyenne.
             
Snow has been recorded in Cheyenne on every remaining day of the year in some
              year since September  9.
