Amos Yost of Montezuma Honored By National Weather Service

Amos Yost, cooperative weather observer at Montezuma, was presented with a 20 year length of service award on Monday, February 24th, by Jeff Hutton, Warning Coordination Meteorologist for the National Weather Service in Dodge City.  Also in attendance for the presentation was Jesse Lee, Observing Program Leader.  Amos started the Montezuma station in 1993.  He has recorded temperature, precipitation and snowfall data for the National Weather Service.
