The Dodge City Regional Airport had its first 100 degree day of the year Thursday with a high of 101 degrees.  Most locations in southwest Kansas reached 100 degrees with Liberal and Elkhart topping out at 106 and 105, respectively.  Other high temperatures included:

It was very humid in south central Kansas.  Medicine Lodge reached 104 degrees, and with the higher dew points, this pushed the heat index to 107 degrees.
