A small and compact storm dumped snow on part of southwest Kansas on Thursday, February 25, 2010.  Snowfall rates were 1 to 2 inches per hour for a time and roads quickly became snow covered.  The map below shows where it snowed and accumulated:

The following day the clouds had cleared the region and satellite images revealed where the snow had accumulated.
