Ulysses NOAA Weather Radio Out of Service

Due to a communication line problem, service to the Ulysses NOAA Weather Radio transmitter has been interrupted. Re-establishment of the communication link between the Dodge City National Weather Service and the Ulysses transmitter will be accomplished as quickly as possible but could take several days. A target date will be provided as soon as additional information is available. The following adjacent NOAA Weather Radio transmitters will provide service for part of the region typically covered by the Ulysses transmitter:

  • Tribume (162.550 MHz)
  • Dighton (162.525 MHz)
  • Ensign (162.475 MHz)
  • Meade (162.425 MHz)

The National Weather Service apologizes for the inconvenience caused by this loss of service.
