Rain Falls across Parts of Southwestern Kansas - 07/11/05
Thunderstorms developed Sunday night across parts of southwestern Kansas, mainly west of a Ness City to Dodge City to Englewood line. Most rainfall amounts reported ranged from a few hundredths of an inch to around a half inch. Some of the higher amounts included 1.95 inches 7 miles southeast of Cimarron, 1.40 inches 8 miles northeast of Montezuma and 1.21 inches 8 miles west of Ulysses. Thunderstorms are expected to develop again later this afternoon in eastern Colorado and spread into southwest Kansas tonight. July 11, 2005
