Summer in November!

3 stations touch 90 degrees in Southwest Kansas on November 8th.

A very strong Pacific jet stream extended from northern California through the northern Rockies on Wednesday, November 8th, allowing for pronounced downslope warming over western Kansas.  Abundant sunshine allowed surface temperatures to peak in the upper 80s to near 90 degrees.
