Flooding fills up Clark State Lake

A huge amount of rain fell across southern Ford and northern Clark counties late Wednesday August 7, 2013.  Clark State Lake which is located about 30 miles southeast of Dodge City filled up and beyond after being about 9 feet low earlier this summer.

The picture below, taken by Lowell Aberson of the KDWP, shows a lot of debris floating down the lake.
