Strong Winter Storm Developing

A significant storm will move across the upper Midwest Monday and Tuesday.  Heavy snow is likely over parts of North Central Minnesota, including International Falls and the Highway 71 corridor where snow amounts will exceed a foot.  A mix of rain, freezing rain and sleet is possible into sections of Northeast Minnesota including the Arrowhead into the Twin Ports and south into the Lower St. Croix Valley.  Ice accumulation may be significant and close attention should be directed to the latest forecasts for updates.
