Warmest Meteorological Spring on Record at Duluth

The meteorological spring of 2010 will go down in the record books as the warmest in weather history at Duluth. Meteorological spring begins March 1st and ends May 31st. The average temperature for that period was 45.6 degrees. This breaks the old record of 44.4 degrees from the spring of 1977. International Falls tied with 1987 for their second warmest meteorological spring on record with an average temperature of 44.4 degrees. It fell just 0.1 degrees from the warmest spring in 1977.
