THE AVERAGE TEMPERATURE FOR JUNE WAS 62.9 DEGREES WHICH WAS 2.1 
DEGREES WARMER THAN THE NORMAL OF 60.8 DEGREES MAKING THIS THE 25TH 
WARMEST JUNE IN STATION HISTORY. THE HIGHEST TEMPERATURE FOR THE 
MONTH WAS 88 DEGREES ON THE 9TH AND 27TH. THE LOWEST TEMPERATURE WAS 
32 DEGREES ON THE 1ST. ONE DAILY TEMPERATURE RECORD WAS TIED FOR THE 
MONTH. THE LOW TEMPERATURE ON THE 25TH WAS 38 DEGREES WHICH TIED THE 
RECORD SET IN 1996. 
 
JUNE 2012 WAS DRIER THAN NORMAL WITH A TOTAL OF 2.43 INCHES OF 
PRECIPITATION RECORDED FOR THE MONTH. THIS WAS 1.49 INCHES BELOW THE 
NORMAL OF 3.92 INCHES MAKING THIS THE 22ND DRIEST JUNE IN RECORDED 
HISTORY. THE GREATEST AMOUNT OF PRECIPITATION IN A 24 HOUR PERIOD 
OCCURRED ON THE 10TH TO THE 11TH WHEN 0.65 INCHES WAS RECORDED. AT 
LEAST A TRACE OF PRECIPITATION WAS REPORTED ON 14 DAYS. AT LEAST 
0.01 INCHES OF PRECIPITATION FELL ON 11 DAYS. AT LEAST 0.10 INCHES 
OF PRECIPITATION FELL ON 8 DAYS. AT LEAST 0.50 INCHES OF 
PRECIPITATION FELL ON 2 DAYS. NO DAILY PRECIPITATION RECORDS WERE

PRESSURE READING FOR THE MONTH WAS 30.24 INCHES REACHED ON THE 25TH 
AND THE LOWEST BAROMETRIC PRESSURE READING WAS 29.34 INCHES REACHED
