Late January Snow Storm in Northern Minnesota

Northern Minnesota received a good dumping of snow Monday night and early Tuesday morning, January 27th to the 28th.   The heaviest snowfall of 8 to 12 inches was in a swath from Bemidji to International Falls.  The greatest amount in the northland was 12 inches two miles southwest of Littlefork.

The map below is an analysis of snowfall reports received as of 7 am January 28th,  and does not reflect reports received after 7 am.  This map does not include reports received via other means besides CoCoRaHS and co-operative observers.
