April 2013 now holds the title as the Snowiest Month ever recorded at Duluth, MN
~  There has been at least 1" of snow on the ground since December 9th, 2012. (143 days as of April 30th)
~  The record length for having 1" of snow depth is 172 days, set in 1956. 
~  There has been at least 5" of snow on the ground for 100 consecutive days (as of April 29th).
~  There has been at least 10" of snow on the ground for 67 consecutive days (ended as of April 28th).
~  The morning low temperature of 11 degrees on April 20th, 2013 broke the old daily low record of 14 
degrees set in 1928
~  The morning low temperature of 8 degrees on April 14th, 2013 tied the old daily low record set in 1926 
~  The temperature at Duluth did not reach 55 degrees from October 16th, 2012 to April 25th, 2013.
~  The latest occurence of at least 60 F degrees was on May 11th, 1950. 
~  The greatest snow depth observed in April is 41" on April 1st, 1965.
