When It Snows, Let Us Know!
The winter season of 2010-2011 is underway, and we still need official Snowspotters!
Interested in Becoming a Northland Snowspotter?
We are eager to expand our Snowfall Spotter Program, a group of volunteer observers who provide timely reports on snowfall and snow depth. This information not only helps forecasters issue more accurate forecasts and warnings; it also provides community officials with details needed to make crucial weather-related decisions.
Contact the program leader at Alex.Lamers@noaa.gov or visit our Winter Weather Page for more details.
It is fast and easy to use the online weather reporting system, eSpotter.
